Arthur Blamire's love of art stems back to his childhood, he won the Sixth Form Art prize while attending Batley Grammar School. Although he started his working life as a geography teacher he retained his creative impulses and in 1984 left the teaching profession to paint full time. Arthur spcialises in oil landscapes of the English Lake District and the inspiring Scottish scenery. The above landscape oil paintings are also available as giclèe prints.
